Lake Garda & Valpolicella programme:
A private tour to Lake Garda and the wine region we recommend the following itinerary and schedule. Departure from Venice at 9.00am. From Venice we travel into the countryside and in one and a half hours we reach Sirmione, the Lake Garda pearl. You can walk in the city, where the Romans built two castles, two harbours, a settlement and the gigantic villa that rises on rocks and powerfully towers on the lake. The city is also famous for a famous fortress built by the Scaliger’s (a charming, graceful yet strong and imposing bulwark, one of the most beautiful buildings in the word) and the numerous villas, churches, the wonderful frescoes and the beautiful gardens in the centre of the town. Moving on we follow the shore of the Lake where are many beautiful and famous towns (Peschiera, Lazise, Bardolino, Garda, etc.).

We can stop at a restaurant with excellent food for lunch. In the afternoon we drive in the picturesque hills of the Valpolicella, the region famous for the Amarone and Recioto wines. We can organize a full wine tasting (including the Amarone) in a local winery with an English-speaking local sommelier that will conduct also a tour of the vineyards facilities so that you can fully appreciate the unique method soft production utilized to make the very special wines of the Valpolicella. After the wine tasting in less than 2 hours we go back to Venice, where we arrive at approx, 6pm. The Price includes: taxes, highway tolls, transport in a new and very comfortable vehicle with air conditioning, English speaking driver. Price does not include meals, admittance tickets, wine tasting, tips and all items of personal nature. The cost of the wine tasting ranges from 20 euro per person (classic wine tasting) to 50 euro per person (sublime wine tasting).
